This project required a modern, energy‑efficient lighting solution capable of supporting busy warehouse operations during low‑light hours.
Key priorities included safe illumination for HGV manoeuvring and loading activities, clear visibility around the building perimeter, and reliable lighting for staff accessing the site after dark.
The installation also needed to minimise energy consumption and withstand the demanding conditions of an industrial environment. These requirements formed the foundation of the design approach and guided the selection of suitable luminaires.
LPS carried out a full site assessment and photometric design to ensure compliance with BS EN 12464‑2 and deliver optimal illumination across loading bays, access routes, and the building perimeter. Glare control and spill‑light reduction were key priorities.
To achieve the required performance, LPS partnered with Vizulo, installing Stork Floodlights for powerful, uniform coverage in vehicle movement areas and Mini Martin luminaires for consistent perimeter and pedestrian‑route lighting. Both were supplied in 2700K, providing warm, controlled illumination that enhances visibility without creating excessive brightness.
The completed installation delivers improved operational safety, stronger site security, and long‑term energy savings. With robust LED technology and a carefully engineered layout, the new lighting system offers reliable performance tailored to the needs of 549 Lovels Way.
Lighting Project Solutions is proud to support industrial facilities with compliant, efficient, and future‑ready lighting solutions.
