Case Study: 54 The Broadway

The Brief

54 The Broadway, London, UK is a development that forms part of the Ealing Broadway Shopping Mall complex located in the centre of Ealing, directly off The Broadway in London.

The development comprised the refurbishment of an existing 3-storey office building located above existing ground floor retail units.  The scheme also included a rear external courtyard for breakout and relaxation. We were asked by the Electrical Installation Engineers to design and supply the lighting for the courtyard area

The Solution

Using luminaires supplied by our Italian Partner Ghidini SRL, our solution included use of the wall mounted Mini Torre up/down lighter to enhance the architectural features of the building. Low level lighting around the timber deck area using the Long Verso Flat, to complement the decking area we used the Compatto spot to accentuate the planting and small trees around the decking. The final aspect was to use the Tratto wall to up light the feature wall.

All luminaire were finished in matching graphite grey and all use 3000K CCT to add warmth and depth to the finished light project.

A prestigious development such as this required luminaires that met the architects brief.  We used LPS as we knew they could supply a quality luminaire from their partners Ghidini.  All in matching graphite colour finish and in a warm white colour temperature.  We are always impressed with the depth of product that LPS can supply and the professionalism of their service.
