The Belfry Hotel and Resort

To achieve a lighting scheme that balanced safety, functionality and aesthetics, Lighting Project Solutions developed a tailored solution using a combination of our own luminaires alongside carefully selected architectural lighting products. Throughout the project, a 2700K warm white colour temperature was specified to create a welcoming, premium atmosphere that complements the Belfry Hotel & Resort’s landscape and architectural features.

The primary pathways were illuminated using our Heras bollards and Hera wall-mounted bulkheads. By selecting either sideways-throw or forward-throw optics to suit the width and layout of each pathway, we were able to provide consistent illumination with excellent uniformity while minimising unnecessary light spill. This bespoke approach ensured each area received the appropriate distribution of light, enhancing visibility and creating a welcoming environment for guests navigating the resort after dark.

Covered walkways and sheltered areas were complemented with PUK Lighting Nano Linear HP downlights, providing discreet yet effective illumination that integrates seamlessly into the architecture. To enhance the landscape, PUK Lighting Terra Medium HP uplights were used to accentuate mature trees, adding depth and visual interest throughout the grounds. Around the decking areas, PUK Lighting Hydrofloor Nano XS in-ground luminaires delivered subtle perimeter lighting that defines the space while maintaining the elegant character of the resort.

The result is a cohesive lighting scheme that combines performance with visual appeal, enhancing safety, improving wayfinding and reinforcing the Belfry Hotel & Resort’s premium guest experience.
