As fathers across the country get ready for a day of pampering and appreciation, on Sunday 20th June (Father’s Day), Team Lighting Project Solutions will be limbering up to compete in the Outlaw Half Nottingham Triathlon.
Since its inaugural year in 2013, Outlaw Half Nottingham has become a must-do event for athletes of all ability levels. Its fast, scenic course combined with fantastic organisation and welcoming environment has led to it becoming the UK’s fastest-selling triathlon, often selling out in just a matter of minutes!
The Team has been training hard to raise £250 for the Worshipful Company of Lightmongers Charitable Trust. The Lightmongers support various charities that work with people with sensory deprivation of sight or hearing.
The event is all based within proximity of the National Water Sports Centre. On the day, first out of the block will be Dale Nettle with the 1.2-mile swim in the lake. Matt Harding will then complete the 56-mile bike ride taking in the sights of the Nottinghamshire countryside before handing over to Michelle Errett for the 13.1-mile sprint back to Holme Pierrepont.
